Jiangxi Shaochun International School was founded in 1999 to serve the Jiangxi province expatriate community¡¯s need for international education. It is the first International School licensed by The Provincial Educational Commission, Our School hires highly experienced and qualified teaching faculty from USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, and Singapore. SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND INTERACTION
We believe in the holistic development of the child and cohesion. Thus we realize that children must interact. Interaction with other culture is also important. Thus for over 2 hour a day, they will join the Chinese children in the following subjects,1. Music 2. P.E 3. English Corner 4. Extra curriculum In the senior Chinese class we have 3 teachers, including a music teacher. The teacher plays the piano and the children sing both in Chinese and English.Motor sensory lessons to optimise the brain action and coordinetion.We produce stimulated games to develop the Childs mended development including coordination to develop holistically.
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIEST
he jungle gym is designed both as a mentar stimulation and play activity for the pupils to develop to their maximum potential.
HYGLENE FACILITIES
We realize that small children have to rest after a period of intellectual activity, thus sleep time is provided. The children sleep in safe baby cots completely supervised by the teachers. Depending on the age the pupils are monitored for their health and cleanliness. We request parents to provide at least one set of complete clothing (if small including bibs). Our aim is also to keep children neat and tidy and moisture free. Thus for smaller children, the diapers are continuously monitored and hygienically changed when necessary. MEALS We provide both Chinese and European style food depending on the parent¡¯s request. Presently we cater for both. The kindergarten educated centre has a separate catering facility for the younger pupil¡¯s supervised by the teachers.
CUSTOMISED CLASSES ESPECIALLY FOR NEW FOREIGNERS TO OUR CITY,NANCHANG
We discuss the parents request and attempt to fulfill their request as we realize their newness to our beautiful city and our country. We will discuss the program of the child with the parents on a regular basics and maintain on ¡°open door¡± policy in that both the principal and teaching staff are available to meet the parent¡¯s request, depending on the commitment of the principal and teaching stuff.
TRANSPORT
Transport is provided. The children will be picked up and dropped off at requested rendevous pre-arranged with the parents. Only the designated parent or parents can collect the child/children. SECURITY
Our school is monitored 24 hours by C.C.TV Cameras as we maintain that security is an integral part of the school system. Entry and exit is also monitored both electroniccall and manually by the security guards.
